Petruț Arapașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Indar Campon who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalie and right to Cui Zheng. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Petruț Arapașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Santo in the 7th minute of play. Omar Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Arapașu having to make a save. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Hârtopanu in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Omar Santo made a precise shot to the right of Petruț Arapașu. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Hârtopanu came free, but Juan Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Omar Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Arapașu. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Bădila got free with Juan Giraldo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goal looked a bit too open when Omar Santo came free, but Petruț Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juan Raúl Amuchástegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Forever Tango from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo got control of the ball when Leontin Hârtopanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Leontin Hârtopanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Giraldo. Leontin Hârtopanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Leontin Hârtopanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Giraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Bădilescu in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Udroiu to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Arapașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Grigore Bădilescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Giraldo could save by the left post. After the first half Forever Tango were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Santo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Nicu Udroiu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s zone, Juan Raúl Amuchástegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Arapașu came out of the goal and Juan Raúl Amuchástegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petruț Arapașu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Santo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Constantin Bădila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebiu Banica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forever Tango made a substitution. Luisito Senio replaced Juan Raúl Amuchástegui. Josu Valls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Petruț Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Christopher Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s goalkeeper Petruț Arapașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Senio. In the 81st minute, Mihai Musta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes, Narciso Chap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forever Tango and the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Bădila, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Forever Tango eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
