Joachim Forseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Giannis Tsovolas hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Erik Cantona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roman Masharov, 1-2. Arne Botnen kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Cantona made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Botnen during the 53rd minute. Saga TF's Leszek Milko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerardo Peio in the 69 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Saga TF's Erik Cantona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Masharov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saga TF's Leszek Milko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Peio, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Freddy Tartales might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Forseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Tartales ran back to his position shaking his head. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Tartales in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th minute Freddy Tartales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Masharov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Botnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ............ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
