Isaac Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Paulista in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar got control of the ball when Róbson Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes, Pedro Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF CERRADO and the Willy Brown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedro Lopez hit a great ball. Arlindo Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Rico's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Atilano Rico made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcos Paulista hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 28th minute of play forced Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Antônio Carlos Bueno could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Isaac Aimar however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Lucas. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Brayer in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Antônio Carlos Bueno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaac Aimar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, AF CERRADO's Isaac Aimar threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Carlos Bueno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Róbson Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Isaac Aimar made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Isaac Aimar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute Steve Brayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

AF CERRADO's Murilo Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Bueno's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the game, AF CERRADO's Murilo Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Aimar saved Willy Brown FC from getting behind. In the 84thth minute of the game Antônio Carlos Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
