FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Morais in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Nazaria came free, but Augusto Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Dorel Cretu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Mercedes got a freekick which was hit by Santo Rumaldo. Anibal Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Abar in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Alvaro Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Abar in the 18th minute of play. Augusto Ellande was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Dorel Cretu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorel Cretu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Manuel Morais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Aritza was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Dorin Dobã charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Dobã the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 32 minutes into the match, Alvaro Abar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Aritza. FC Truseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Abar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Anibal Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonid Nazaria kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Eugen Tabãrã hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Manuel Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Aritza came out of the goal and Manuel Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorel Cretu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Abar made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alvaro Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Abar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd minute Manuel Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Aritza made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Albino Feliu sent off a good shot on target. Mercedes were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FC Truseni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Mon took the corner. After 58 minutes FC Truseni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anier Mon who took care of the corner kick. In the 60th minute, Vadim Speianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Morais came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Truseni made a substitution. Mihail Cepoi replaced Nicolae Papuc. After 64 played minutes Mercedes got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ivar Nordmo. Anibal Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ivar Nordmo in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ivar Nordmo got free with Anibal Aritza in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Teodor Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuel Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Morais in the 79th minute of the match. Anibal Aritza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 82nd minute, Anier Mon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Ivar Nordmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Aritza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geovanni Carioca hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Mercedes's Manuel Morais ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anibal Aritza. Anibal Aritza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Jan-Ivar Nordmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Anibal Aritza made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mercedes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
