With a little luck, Onagoity AFC's Gaudencio Gervaso got control of the ball when Albino Feliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Hug in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Albino Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Sidro in the 16th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Augusto Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Hug in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Onagoity AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arnoldo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onagoity AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Ellande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Manuel Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Gaudencio Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Onagoity AFC's Gaudencio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Abar in the 54th minute of play. Augusto Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Columbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Manuel Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Feliu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Gervaso. Gaudencio Gervaso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mercedes's Honorato Kauldi was substituted for Albino Feliu. After 72 played minutes Onagoity AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Artizar. After 76 minutes of play, Mercedes's Jan-Ivar Nordmo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Gervaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The corner ended in Rolando Sidro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mercedes's Augusto Ellande did a great save. Gaudencio Gervaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ivar Nordmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Onagoity AFC's Nestor Hug got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Onagoity AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ivar Nordmo came free, but Gaudencio Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Honorato Kauldi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Onagoity AFC's Gaudencio Gervaso. Gaudencio Gervaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mercedes had played much better football throughout.
