The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Suibhne Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. Mateo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Vârlan in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionică Vârlan in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Medardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costin Stănculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Adevarul Pur getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Filip Călimanescu hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Andrei Mihăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's goalkeeper Costin Stănculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Honrio. In the 28thth minute of the game Ionică Vârlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tama's Mateo Medardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Tama booed when Adevarul Pur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costin Stănculescu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Suibhne Ghee sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Tama's Victorino Mogel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costin Stănculescu. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Costin Stănculescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Suibhne Ghee went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ştefan Costin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mateo Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Ionică Vârlan made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Adevarul Pur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Penescu to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Vârlan came free, but Mateo Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Adevarul Pur booed when Tama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tama's Mateo Medardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Tama from getting a goal against them. Mateo Medardo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Adevarul Pur's Ştefan Costin. But to his dismay, Ştefan Costin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Mateo Medardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ionică Vârlan fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adevarul Pur's protests and gave Ionică Vârlan a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the match, Tama's goalkeeper Mateo Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Călimanescu. If Ionică Vârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Stănculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ferran in the 87th minute of play. Gică Tapalagă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Medardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gică Tapalagă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costin Stănculescu came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Tama's Felipe Mino. But to his dismay, Felipe Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Tama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
