The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loïc Payen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Marcelo Cordero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Payen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With his leg Loïc Payen managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Cordero came free, but Loïc Payen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Qiu Xi Wen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of FC Lëtzebuerg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT:s goal. 28 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qiu Xi Wen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Donatello in the 39th minute of play. FC Lëtzebuerg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Hélder Donatello scored to the left of an out of position Loïc Payen, making the score, 3-0. Qiu Xi Wen came free in the 44th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dražen Ladić, but to the joy of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters the ball went over.

When Marcelo Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Cordero couldn't finish the play. Loïc Payen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loïc Payen. FC Lëtzebuerg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Cordero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Ferreyra in the 65th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Loïc Payen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loïc Payen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng was substituted for Marcelo Cordero. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Maximo Bertol was substituted for Hélder Donatello. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serdar Gulson in the 79th minute. Liu Yang Feng hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Serdar Gulson put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dražen Ladić. Zheng Jing Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Serdar Gulson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Dražen Ladić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loïc Payen came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Zheng Jing Feng. But to his dismay, Zheng Jing Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. There was no doubt that Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were the better team. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
