The audience was convinced that Serdar Gulson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarrett Rosenberg was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serdar Gulson in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Heath didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loïc Payen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Fontenot in the 27th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Gulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Qiu Xi Wen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarrett Rosenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Serdar Gulson scored to the left of an out of position Jarrett Rosenberg, making the score, 3-0. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Gulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarrett Rosenberg stood somewhat misplaced when Serdar Gulson came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serdar Gulson in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Serdar Gulson tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Fontenot made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Serdar Gulson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarrett Rosenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Serdar Gulson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrett Rosenberg should have stopped the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Erasto in the 61st minute of the match. FC Lëtzebuerg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qiu Xi Wen in the 63rd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serdar Gulson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarrett Rosenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serdar Gulson in the 79th minute of play. FC Lëtzebuerg's Qiu Xi Wen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serdar Gulson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lëtzebuerg.
