In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Mátyás Lisztes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mirko Blank in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mátyás Lisztes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Zuidema in the 33rd minute of play. Bruno Zuidema took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mátyás Lisztes. Mátyás Lisztes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Bruno Zuidema's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Bruno Zuidema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Bjorn Kuijpers. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Varga in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harm Rooy saved The Dalwhinnie Boys from getting behind. In the 67th minute Lajos Keresztesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harm Rooy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Dalwhinnie Boys getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Niko Kramer hit a great ball. With his leg Mátyás Lisztes managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bruno Zuidema fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Zuidema in the 77th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Mátyás Lisztes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Zuidemas short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Mátyás Lisztes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
