Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Los Piratas FC's Jorge Cervera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Yves Passot hit a great ball. Candido Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper Martin Abadia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Passot. Christophe Troxler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Ospin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Jorge Cervera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christophe Troxler. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christophe Troxler should have stopped the shot. Yves Passot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Abadia having to make a save. Yves Passot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 24th playminute. Yves Passot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Martin Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yves Passot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ospin in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Yves Passot made the kick off in the second half. Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 53rd minute of play. Agustín Álvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Abadia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Álvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Luzea in the 63rd minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Ospetsu Villarmerin. Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ospin in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Ospin came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Montevideo City Torque's Agustín Álvarez in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Piratas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Aluneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Salvador Izel made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silverio Truylos. Los Piratas FC's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Moises Luzea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christophe Troxler, passed just outside the right post. The Montevideo City Torque players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
