With a little luck, Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg got control of the ball when José Guerreiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kernsdorf SSA's Piotr Topolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Håning in the 22nd minute of play. The tension between the Sundborn IF and the Kernsdorf SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piotr Topolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Hansson in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sundborn IF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
