Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Holthuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Mijdrecht Maffia defense, Erwin Jury kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirko Vervoort. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirko Vervoort should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Davy Poirrier got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kurt Holthuis in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Côme de Fresné's Luc Boulogne. Mirko Vervoort had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Davy Poirrier from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 30th minute, Bram Wessel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 西门 亮 in the 33rd minute of the match. Mijdrecht Maffia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Holthuis in the 35th minute. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After the first half Mijdrecht Maffia were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Saint Côme de Fresné's Luc Boulogne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arda Heerckes in the 70 minute of the game. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Poirrier in the 71st minute of play. Gameiro Lenoble stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Vaz's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Bram Wessel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Poirrier in the 76th minute of play. 西门 亮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gameiro Lenoble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gameiro Lenoble made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bram Wessel in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Côme de Fresné's zone, 西门 亮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gameiro Lenoble came out of the goal and 西门 亮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bram Wessel struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gameiro Lenoble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mijdrecht Maffia. When the final whistle sounded Mijdrecht Maffia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saint Côme de Fresné.
