In the 7thth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Låsberg in the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto got control of the ball when Fernando Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Pinto in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guto Jacinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fernando Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Guto Jacinto made a huge save. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 17th minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Lekubegi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Guto Jacinto made a huge save. Gaudencio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes AFC Cherries got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Barroso. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 24th minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Iwan Lepucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AFC Cherries getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luciano Cuenca hit a great ball. With a little luck, AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto got control of the ball when Fernando Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guto Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Fernando Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Xavier von Felten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gaudencio Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. Guto Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 40th minute of the match. LavAzzA were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after AFC Cherries's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Labarra took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Amerigo Labarra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guto Jacinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 minutes, Luciano Cuenca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Cherries and the LavAzzA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the AFC Cherries defense, Gaudencio Lekubegi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto Jacinto. The AFC Cherries fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Jacinto should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Pinto was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AFC Cherries's Radek Rokos got a free kick in the 51st minute. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Labarra in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Guto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeki Engintalay made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao. In the 61st minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Lekubegi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Jacinto was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Guto Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Iwan Lepucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Guto Jacinto came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 78th minute of play. If Fernando Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Cherries made a substitution. František Jakubec replaced Kaj Låsberg. After a rather tough play, AFC Cherries's Luciano Cuenca got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
