LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jörgen Siöberg made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LavAzzA's Xavier von Felten. Henri-Patrick Widdepenninck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şaban Saraçoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The LavAzzA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LavAzzA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
