If Luciano Cuenca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polly Magoo Juniors's Markus Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kaj Låsberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Markus Fågel however easily saved by the left post. In the 14th minute Luciano Cuenca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Barroso came free, but Markus Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Gösta Bergman made a precise shot to the right of Guto Jacinto. AFC Cherries's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Markus Fågel made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Godfredo Barroso sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Luciano Cuenca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Cherries's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Roy Johnsson put in a rough tackle. 30 minutes into the game, one of Polly Magoo Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Polly Magoo Juniors defense, Luciano Cuenca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Fågel. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Fågel should have stopped the shot. With his leg Markus Fågel managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when AFC Cherries's Godfredo Barroso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Låsberg in the 40th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Luciano Cuenca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Markus Fågel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaj Låsberg got free with Markus Fågel in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cuenca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Bredberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Bergman made a kick off. In the 56th minute Kaj Låsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Barroso took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Fågel. Markus Fågel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's Kaj Låsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Fågel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 64th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes, AFC Cherries's Christian Backman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Markus Fågel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Cherries reached it. After some careless play in the Polly Magoo Juniors defense, Godfredo Barroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Fågel. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Fågel should have stopped the shot. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Isac Wållander replaced Gösta Bergman. Polly Magoo Juniors's Isak Stålman was substituted for Jan-Erik Tunberg. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
