After 3 minutes, Karl-Ove Sörman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flan Mixto FC's Raimundo Dorio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Everardo Milian scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Dorio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Laureano Heriberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Ove Sörman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Dorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Marcelo Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Bilbo in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Sörman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Raimundo Dorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Genaro Ederono threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flan Mixto FC's Celestino Iruinea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marcelo Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Yang in the 33rd minute of the match. Aquilino Balasi's late challenge caught a Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Balasi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, one of Flan Mixto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flan Mixto FC. 47 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Milian came free, but Raimundo Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Ove Sörman to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Flan Mixto FC got a corner. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestino Iruinea ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Edgardo Acevedo to score against Marcelo Gagriel in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goal. 1-4 after 55 minutes. 58 minutes into the game, Everardo Milian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Raimundo Dorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Moises Normando was substituted for Kian Serafini. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ made a substitution. Alvaro Cordarrol replaced Karl-Ove Sörman. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Everardo Milian took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Raimundo Dorio to make any attempt to save it. Flan Mixto FC's Placido Lando was substituted for Fernando Bilbo. Alvaro Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Dorio having to interfere. Raimundo Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Milian in the 70th minute of play. Raimundo Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Cordarrol went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Marcelo Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Yang in the 76th minute of play. Raimundo Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Cordarrol in the 79th minute. After 84 minutes, Urbano Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flan Mixto FC and the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Urbano Iruinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Jonathan Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Celestino Iruinea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Gagriel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Raimundo Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Placido Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flan Mixto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Lando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Alvaro Cordarrol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
