After 6 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Moraes. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 14th minute of the match. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Trevisan in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Di Yuan Liang. In the 24th minute, Cacá Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Moraes in the 37th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Di Yuan Liang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Salles. The goal made the score 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Di Yuan Liang came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Triforce Super Soccer's attentive Jean-Pascal Croissant managed to snatch the ball when Luisito Bordat made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Di Yuan Liang made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Moraes in the 51st minute of play. Triforce Super Soccer's Duarte Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Trevisan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fabiano de Lima. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. After 58 played minutes Duarte Trevisan rounded Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 62nd minute of the match. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yuan Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Di Yuan Liang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Salles was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Trevisan. After a defensive mix-up in Triforce Super Soccer's zone, Hermínio Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Salles came out of the goal and Hermínio Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Triforce Super Soccer's Amílton Alagoano was substituted for Sandrinho Passos. With a little luck, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima got control of the ball when Duarte Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Triforce Super Soccer walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
