Moïse Girerd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Carles Pujol sped through Chaponnay FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moïse Girerd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedim Emekli in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moïse Girerd saved Chaponnay FC from getting behind. The Mean Machine fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moïse Girerd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carles Pujol in the 27th minute of the match. Charly Boisson struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Menios Chloros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaponnay FC. After 35 minutes, Carles Pujol made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Evan Le Moullec charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Daniil Bonoris hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Makris, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Chaponnay FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Nedim Emekli scored to the left of an out of position Moïse Girerd, making the score, 0-5. Nedim Emekli in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moïse Girerd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 62 minutes of play Chaponnay FC's Evan Le Moullec was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evan Le Moullec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mean Machine made a substitution. Luca Milivojević replaced Lakis Mantarinakis. Mean Machine's Nikos Kioupouroglou was substituted for Miltos Makris. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Evan Le Moullec hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moïse Girerd. That made the score 0-6 after 96 minutes of play. The Chaponnay FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mean Machine were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
