The Chaponnay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moïse Girerd should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Håkan Lindgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Chaponnay FC's Noureddine Ridard was substituted for Renaud Houzet. In the 85th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduart Rrustemi to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's 狄亦渊 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moïse Girerd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moïse Girerd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Chaponnay FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brothers of Mercy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
