Håkan Lindgren scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fiery Chargers's Clemente de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 23rd minute of play. Markus Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Flavio Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avelino Amado in the 28th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Fiery Chargers's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindgren came free, but Clemente de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Avelino Amado came free, but Markus Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fiery Chargers's Flavio Mendes got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Håkan Lindgren made a precise shot to the right of Clemente de Godoi. Fiery Chargers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 59 minutes of play, Brothers of Mercy's Patrik Skarkman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Håkan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 65th minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's attentive Per-Oskar Hjortsberg managed to snatch the ball when Saúl Freire made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Clemente de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Lindgren in the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fiery Chargers defense, Håkan Lindgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente de Godoi. The Fiery Chargers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente de Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 81stth minute of the game Håkan Lindgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fiery Chargers's Clemente de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Håkan Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Fiery Chargers's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Lindgren came free, but Clemente de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiery Chargers's Clemente de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Brothers of Mercy were the better team. Brothers of Mercy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
