Fokke Meijeringh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Brito in the 7th minute of the match. Inácio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but William Rosa made a huge save. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Vila Mascote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. José de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Vila Mascote FC defense, Harold Rodenboog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Rosa. The Vila Mascote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Rosa should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, William Rosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Brito in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Kasteelheren's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Augusto Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time Vila Mascote FC's players had a chance to rest. Kaká Mota was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 36 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Brito came free, but Fokke Meijeringh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Ferdi Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Rodenboog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Rodenboog in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Anatoliy Gvozdevych managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anatoliy Gvozdevych was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Rosa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Inácio Amaral sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleiton Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Arif Ensar İsmet kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Inácio Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Rosa having to make a save. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Rodenboog in the 64th minute of the match. If Inácio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Vila Mascote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Amaral came free, but William Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fokke Meijeringh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino Brito in the 92nd minute. When Erasmo Santana fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Mascote FC's protests and gave Erasmo Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Inácio Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
