An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Stephen in the 9th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Olds School Pepo were awarded a corner. Luis Gumaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Cipriano Ledesma made a great header on Olds School Pepo's corner, it was just that Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 24th minute, Petru Novacovici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ionuț Contra got a free kick in the 27th minute. Karl-Michael Brask in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Nicholas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xerxes Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Herminio Stephen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter. Flavio Peter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Peter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Olds School Pepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Olds School Pepo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when José Serrizuela got free with Flavio Peter in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tauro Doro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, one of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. Flavio Peter had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping José Serrizuela's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Blagoy Doro fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's protests and gave Blagoy Doro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Blagoy Doro hit a great ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Gervaso in the 68th minute of play. Flavio Peter came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Olds School Pepo's Juan Gervaso. But to his dismay, Juan Gervaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Flavio Peter made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when José Serrizuela sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Gervaso in the 76th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Gervaso in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Juan Gervaso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Peter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting a goal against them. Blagoy Doro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Flavio Peter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cipriano Ledesma. Flavio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Geamănu to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Peter made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when José Serrizuela sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Olds School Pepo's Juan Gervaso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Peter. That made the score 0-8 after 100 minutes of play. When the match was over Olds School Pepo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Batalionul U23 Dorobanti throughout the match.
