The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Rosa got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Vaz having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fabiano Vaz. ARON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kraig Fred took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano Vaz. Luís Fabiano Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kraig Fred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kraig Fred made the kick off in the second half. Kraig Fred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. After 61st play minutes Joel Cordarrel shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Luís Fabiano Vaz and just under the crossbar into goal. If Edu Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Estudiantes de América got a corner. ARON FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximo Dei ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when ARON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fabiano Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Dei in the 75th minute. Luís Fabiano Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fabiano Vaz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti. But to his dismay, Concetto Trasatti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. When Joel Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. Joel Cordarrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fabiano Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Concetto Trasatti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 88th minute Concetto Trasatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Trasatti in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Vaz saved ARON FC from getting behind. Estudiantes de América's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
