Marios Kostis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Nentopoulos got free with Luís Fabiano Vaz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 13 minutes, Charis Giasemis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punk Fathers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charis Giasemis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fabiano Vaz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nikos Nentopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fabiano Vaz came out of the goal and Nikos Nentopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marinos Koskotas scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fabiano Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Xavier in the 36th minute of play forced Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Marios Kostis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Koskotas in the 37th minute of the match. Nikos Nentopoulos came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luís Fabiano Vaz could save by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Punk Fathers's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Proença came free, but Marios Kostis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Punk Fathers defense, Edu Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marios Kostis. The Punk Fathers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marios Kostis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Punk Fathers's zone, Sebastião Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marios Kostis came out of the goal and Sebastião Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nikos Nentopoulos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Nikos Nentopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marios Kostis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikiforos Frantzeskos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Vaz having to interfere. A collision led to Punk Fathers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Charis Giasemis hit a great ball.
