With an all-out effort, Fervent Stalkers's Duarte de Sena threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eleuterio Donostia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cirilo Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 11 minutes Club Atlético Ituzaingó's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Donostia who took care of the corner kick. Eleuterio Donostia made a great header on Fervent Stalkers's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Gaskon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fervent Stalkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Sugoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Club Atlético Ituzaingó were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club Atlético Ituzaingó made a substitution. Fulgencio Nikola replaced Victor Paskal. The wind increased when Franco Navarro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Nikola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Augusto Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Gaskon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Salbatore in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute, Cirilo Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Bernardo Salbatore fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Leandro Cutberto put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte de Sena. Clodoveo Sugoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Gaskon came out and tried to block the shot, but Clodoveo Sugoi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Ituzaingó left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fervent Stalkers.
