An unexpectedly hard shot by Bordat Vidania in the 18th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovana F C's Gian Weidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Giovana F C from getting a goal against them. Renato Tapia took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gian Weidt. Gian Weidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Tapia was the one to do the kick off. Renato Tapia scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gian Weidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Nestor Araujo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Iustin Teodor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Eusébio Angelsø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pepe Toxeiro. The goal made the score 4-1. 64 minutes into the game, Ferman Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Club Celta de Vigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giovana F C the free kick. The supporters of Giovana F C booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovana F C made a substitution. Wilson Arósio replaced Matías Antunes. After 65 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Torres. Pepe Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Pepe Toxeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gian Weidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Tapia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giovana F C's goalkeeper Gian Weidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Giovana F C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Iustin Teodor hit a great ball. Real Club Celta de Vigo made a substitution. Unai Nuñez replaced Cordera Unzueta. In the 83rd match minute, Giovana F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Teodor to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes of play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Everardo Arias made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gian Weidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Xavier in the 89th minute of play forced Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Pepe Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
