With a little luck, Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore got control of the ball when Eliseu Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Josué Gonçalves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Whitmore saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlos Whitmore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Garcia in the 8th minute of the match. Zé Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Hillman in the 11th minute of the match. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Stjohn in the 17th minute of play. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilien Salois, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Quebec city FC got a corner. Saiko FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Newton Dennison ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Quebec city FC's Newton Dennison to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Sabóia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Whitmore made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eliseu Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Décio Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Saiko FC's Carlos Whitmore threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Josué Gonçalves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Carlos Whitmore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Fonseca. Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Quebec city FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Bati in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Whitmore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Whitmore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Fonseca in the 36th minute. Eliseu Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Whitmore firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 38th minute Patrick Hillman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jed Crane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Sabóia having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Garcia came free, but Carlos Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Gabriel Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Whitmore having to make a save. 51 minutes into the match, Josué Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Whitmore. Quebec city FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 54th minute of play. Timmy Newcomb kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Simon Stjohn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Zé Sabóia made a huge save. In the 64th minute Josué Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 66th minute of play. Maximilien Salois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. Josué Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Carlos Whitmore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Carlos Whitmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bati in the 73rd minute of play forced Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Carlos Whitmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Quebec city FC defense, Gabriel Bati kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Whitmore. The Quebec city FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Whitmore should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes of play, Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Whitmore was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Fonseca came free, but Carlos Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bati notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore. Carlos Whitmore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quebec city FC's Carlos Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Gonçalves in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gabriel Bati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Whitmore was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
