Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Décio Dionísio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Saiko FC defense, Tadeu Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Sabóia. The Saiko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Sabóia should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Ceresso in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 76th minute Eusébio Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Natanael Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Josué Gonçalves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gian Weidt, 4-3.
