Nestor Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigge Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Bruno Matxin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nestor Quirino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabi Gol got free with Jeronimo Rainerio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the match América-SC F.C. got a corner. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Gabi Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeronimo Rainerio. The goal made the score 1-1. Nestor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Basso in the 37th minute of play. América-SC F.C.'s Altuğ Vakkasoğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aquilino Gonchan, made in the 40th minute of the game. Gabi Gol hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Basso in the 43rd minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Rainerio made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabi Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ made a substitution. Bonifacio Elija replaced Maximo Goren. Altuğ Vakkasoğlu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. América-SC F.C.'s Alfredo Secco was substituted for Eliézer Azevedo. 71 minutes into the match, Bruno Matxin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Quirino. Jeronimo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Ulisses Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guilherme Basso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Quirino. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Aldo Maurin made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Quirino. América-SC F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Aldo Maurin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Quirino firmly grabbed it by the left post. The América-SC F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
