After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Romeo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvīns van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulryk Kalemba was the one to do the kick off. José Raya's late challenge caught a Durazno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Raya helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Juventud Unida S L:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Durazno FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Juventud Unida S L's Alfredo Quilo got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Ulryk Kalemba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙笑霖 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durazno FC's Rodolfo Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 minutes, Alfredo Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventud Unida S L and the Durazno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juventud Unida S L getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ulryk Kalemba took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龙笑霖. 龙笑霖 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 90 played minutes Juventud Unida S L got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Remir. 龙笑霖 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulryk Kalemba's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Juventud Unida S L's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
