The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Eli Nutil advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-2 in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Tonico Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahattin Yetkiner was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonico Tinoco in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahattin Yetkiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Çağrı Çetiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah made a huge save. Bahattin Yetkiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Guaberto Paio might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahattin Yetkiner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Paio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Inter Miami CF's Tonico Tinoco in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inter Miami CF made a substitution. Javier Fridman replaced Eriberto Miranda. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tonico Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. Inter Miami CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joe Pancken in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Javier Fridman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bahattin Yetkiner. That made the score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. With a little luck, MALATYASPOR's Bahattin Yetkiner got control of the ball when Román Riquelme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, MALATYASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Tonico Tinoco came free, but Bahattin Yetkiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Tonico Tinoco put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Bahattin Yetkiner. Bahattin Yetkiner made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tonico Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, MALATYASPOR's Bahattin Yetkiner got control of the ball when Javier Fridman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvano Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tonico Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahattin Yetkiner was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Tonico Tinoco didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 94th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Tonico Tinoco ran dejectedly back to his position. Bahattin Yetkiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Román Riquelme in the 96th minute. The MALATYASPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter Miami CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
