The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Cummings got free with Lázaro Odon in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dale Cummings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lázaro Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Furtado made in the 8th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristo Abalos however managed to control. Amedeo Verdecchia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Verdecchia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Friggle FC got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Verdecchia. Lázaro Odon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Cummings in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Narciso Ekain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESQUIU FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lázaro Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lázaro Odon made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Dale Cummings sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Dale Cummings reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lázaro Odon. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 37th minute, Urban Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dale Cummings got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dale Cummings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Cummings in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lázaro Odon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Ekain was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, one of ESQUIU FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ESQUIU FC. 60 minutes into the match, ESQUIU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Cummings came free, but Lázaro Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Friggle FC made a substitution. Robert Voltri replaced Dale Cummings. Friggle FC made a substitution. German Nieto replaced Matthijs Waidijk. Lázaro Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Voltri in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Voltri in the 67th minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Friggle FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rex Jackson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ESQUIU FC's Lázaro Odon. 4-1. The supporters of ESQUIU FC booed when Friggle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Voltri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Voltri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, ESQUIU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Voltri came free, but Lázaro Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urban Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lázaro Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Voltri in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázaro Odon saved ESQUIU FC from getting behind. After 89 minutes of play, Friggle FC's Robert Voltri made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Odon was left in no man's land by his defense there! ESQUIU FC's Feliciano Guzman got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Feliciano Guzman off the ground. After 93 played minutes ESQUIU FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Guzman. Lázaro Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Jackson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Friggle FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after ESQUIU FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rex Jackson took the corner. After taking down the ball on Friggle FC's corner Rex Jackson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lázaro Odon quite easily take care of the ball.
