With a left leg Arturo Boruc saved Friggle FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Román Riquelme in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Riquelme in the 10th minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Friggle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Román Riquelme came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Inter Miami CF's Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah got control of the ball when Dale Cummings tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Eriberto Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Román Riquelme sped through Friggle FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Boruc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 33rd minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Román Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Román Riquelme in the 36th minute of play. If Román Riquelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Amedeo Verdecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite this Arturo Boruc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Román Riquelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arturo Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Fridman in the 55th minute of the match. Friggle FC's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Tonico Tinoco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Inter Miami CF's Mauro Liher was substituted for Justo Montrel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 61st minute of play forced Friggle FC's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Fridman took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Boruc. Arturo Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Friggle FC's Robert Voltri was substituted for Dale Cummings. Friggle FC made a substitution. German Nieto replaced Matthijs Waidijk. Mauro Liher made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Friggle FC's Aktuğ Gariboğlu. Friggle FC's Andrea Cameli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Blas Giunta in the 74 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Friggle FC's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Riquelme. Friggle FC's Arturo Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Friggle FC from getting a goal against them. After 79 minutes Friggle FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joe Pancken who took care of the corner kick. Inter Miami CF's Joe Pancken was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arturo Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Román Riquelme came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arturo Boruc could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Guaberto Paio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Amedeo Verdecchia hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Friggle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tonico Tinoco came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Voltri in the 94th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Jean-Philippe Al Abdullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Friggle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Verdecchia to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Inter Miami CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
