REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Mirande in the 16th minute of play. Percival Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 史铮坤 scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percival Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Mirande in the 24th minute of play. Eleuterio Mirande might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percival Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleuterio Mirande ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Mirande in the 25th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Mirande in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute, 史铮坤 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilulea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ilulea FC's Eleuterio Mirande got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Marian Golembiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilulea FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after REAL VASCO RIO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 史铮坤 took the corner. After 45 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Simão. After some careless play in the REAL VASCO RIO defense, Eleuterio Mirande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Prestes. The REAL VASCO RIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Prestes should have stopped the shot. After the first half Ilulea FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Souza to make the kick off. Eleuterio Mirande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Percival Prestes made a huge save. Eleuterio Mirandes short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Percival Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 史铮坤 hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Ilulea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Golembiewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Eleuterio Mirande made a precise shot to the right of Percival Prestes. REAL VASCO RIO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Eleuterio Mirande put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Percival Prestes. If Eleuterio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilulea FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
