C.A.Independiente's Ambrosio Ovando quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 12th minute, Heigo Luiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feridun Özerkmen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eşref Tülün made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Onur Övünç immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when KARŞIYAKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eşref Tülün didn't get a good kick on the ball. The C.A.Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feridun Özerkmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Tom Misaki struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Feridun Özerkmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. In the 28th minute Tom Misaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feridun Özerkmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente's Tom Misaki made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feridun Özerkmen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Tom Misaki notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of KARŞIYAKA's Feridun Özerkmen. Feridun Özerkmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Heigo Luiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Heigo Luiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feridun Özerkmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Necip Fazıl Nurettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Buford Lim made a huge save. Jaroslaw Psikuta kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. C.A.Independiente's Buford Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Independiente from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necip Fazıl Nurettin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Necip Fazıl Nurettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, C.A.Independiente's Feridun Özerkmen threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heigo Luiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tom Misaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Feridun Özerkmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Bosioc, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Feridun Özerkmen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heigo Luiga went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Buford Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necip Fazıl Nurettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tom Misaki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feridun Özerkmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jaroslaw Psikuta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of KARŞIYAKA booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heigo Luiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Heigo Luiga fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Heigo Luiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feridun Özerkmen. Heigo Luiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 77th minute, KARŞIYAKA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heigo Luiga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. KARŞIYAKA's Feridun Özerkmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save KARŞIYAKA from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, KARŞIYAKA's goalkeeper Feridun Özerkmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Misaki. Quentin Holman struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Feridun Özerkmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. In the 95th minute, Tom Misaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
