Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Toivonen to make the kick off. Bearnaise EA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Toivonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerrold Valcarcel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Toivonen went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Jerrold Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Toivonen in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute Ola Toivonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrold Valcarcel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Ourense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Toivonen was slow to take the kick. During this time Bearnaise EA's players had a chance to rest. When the match was over Atlético Ourense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bearnaise EA throughout the match.
