Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Sérgio de Azevedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sérgio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mihai Grozuță sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Mihai Grozuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Mihai Grozuță tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihai Grozuță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio de Azevedo. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Mihai Grozuță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Grozuță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panait Moldovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Dedé Alagoano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Mihai Grozuță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Grozuță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Sérgio de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Mihai Grozuță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 40 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Marques. The FC Arges Dacia Pitesti fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Mihai Grozuță looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mathias Vidal hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihai Grozuță made a kick off. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when FC Arges Dacia Pitesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Găvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Emanuel Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Mihai Grozuță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Arges Dacia Pitesti getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eden Hazard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Hazard in the 60th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Grozuță's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Stelian Frățilă was substituted for Panait Moldovan. After 69 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. After 93 played minutes FC Arges Dacia Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Rostow. Isidor Quintarnaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Paranaense in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Arges Dacia Pitesti fans cheered their team off the field, for while BMB IMOVEIS SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
