Michel Cremers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Vincente made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Michel Cremers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Vincente was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 17 minutes into the match, Nasals Más's goalkeeper Arnaldo Vincente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nildo Matos. In the 18th minute, Norberto Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Seagulls's Nildo Matos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Vincente. That made the score 4-0 after 20 minutes of play. Arnaldo Vincente stood somewhat misplaced when Nildo Matos came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. In the 37th minute Marco Mook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Sturkenboom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Vincente came out and tried to block the shot, but Casper Sturkenboom slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. Nildo Matos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Vincente. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelu Dincă was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Zgonina. In the 59th minute Marco Mook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Jol hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Seagulls. With a little luck, Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino got control of the ball when Horacio Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nasals Más's Arnaldo Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Matos in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Dantel got free with Aurelio Rexino in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Nasals Más got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Enekoitz. 85 minutes into the match, Milosz Zgonina notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Nasals Más's Arnaldo Vincente. Arnaldo Vincente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the game, Milosz Zgonina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Arnaldo Vincente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
