In the 30th minute, Valério Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. If Elvio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Galo in the 97th minute of play forced Nasals Más's goalkeeper Arnaldo Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Santos City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nasals Más.
