An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Idrotoglou in the 6th minute of play forced Buzarda FC's goalkeeper Natalio Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avraam Lykoudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Villu Üleoja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buzarda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabachana F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Buzarda FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Villu Üleoja hit a great ball. Natalio Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Lykoudis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Buzarda FC's Bonifacio Estebe got a free kick in the 17th minute. Villu Üleoja had several of the Tabachana F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thibaut Courtois as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alexis Idrotoglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buzarda FC's Natalio Tono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Avraam Lykoudis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Tono having to make a save. Avraam Lykoudis scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Tono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Villu Üleoja tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Tabachana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avraam Vikatos to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Lopez's late challenge caught a Tabachana F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buzarda FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bonifacio Lopez hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Alexis Idrotoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Idrotoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Tono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabachana F.C.. Buzarda FC's attentive Bonifacio Lopez managed to snatch the ball when Aris Mesidis made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Natalio Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Idrotoglou in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Avraam Lykoudis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Tono was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Natalio Tono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Idrotoglou's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Avraam Vikatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabachana F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Idrotoglou was the one to do the kick off. Alexis Idrotoglou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natalio Tono came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexis Idrotoglou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 53rd minute. Alexis Idrotoglou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Natalio Tono when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Avraam Lykoudis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natalio Tono. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alexis Idrotoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Idrotoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Tono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Tono made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Alexis Idrotoglou sent off a good shot on target. Avraam Lykoudis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Tono having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexis Idrotoglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Tono. That made the score 1-6 in the 78 minute of play. Buzarda FC's Natalio Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Lykoudis in the 82nd minute of play. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Idrotoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
