After a rather tough play, TunaFC's Faruk Nafiz Tutuş got a free kick in the 4th minute. When DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Berker Sani in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TunaFC's goalie prevented a goal. Min Alacuart hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. TunaFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kuzey Sebat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sezgin Ulutaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Sani in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jürgen Fahlgren made a precise shot to the right of Sezgin Ulutaş. TunaFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Faruk Nafiz Tutuş scored to the left of an out of position Aguirre Verde, making the score, 1-1. Pieter-Jan Anteunis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berker Sani was the one to do the kick off. Sezgin Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Sani, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jürgen Fahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sezgin Ulutaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute DUBAI Palm Jumeirah were awarded a corner. Kuzey Sebat went to the cornerflag to take it. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Kuzey Sebat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sezgin Ulutaş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, TunaFC's Tanel Kallas got a free kick in the 65th minute. Sezgin Ulutaş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kuzey Sebat. If Ortzi Calzado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Ortzi Calzado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aguirre Verde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Berker Sani in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sezgin Ulutaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Lütfi Eryildiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Min Alacuart in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah booed when TunaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enes Ural didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jürgen Fahlgren's late challenge caught a TunaFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jürgen Fahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the TunaFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
