The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Romero got free with Borys Buffon in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paco Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Dombrowski in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Wit Dombrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrullah Toygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GALATASARAY O.Z. booed when FC Borówiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Niemoj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Ludomir Domin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Kulan came free, but Borys Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Petka in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when J.J J.J. got free with Borys Buffon in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute of the match, Emrullah Toygun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borys Buffon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Borówiec's Borys Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökçen Kulan in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Tobiasz Niemoj fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Borówiec's protests and gave Tobiasz Niemoj a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Borówiec getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Adam Petka managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Borówiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Petka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wit Dombrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Paco Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Kulan came free, but Borys Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Wit Dombrowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paco Zamora. Wit Dombrowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Borys Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçen Kulan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's goal looked a bit too open when Emrullah Toygun came free, but Borys Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawel Maziarski made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Brzakala however managed to control. 80 minutes into the game, Wit Dombrowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paco Zamora. Wit Dombrowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Borys Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrullah Toygun in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Borówiec's Robert Brzakala got a free kick in the 88th minute. Borys Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçen Kulan in the 90th minute of play. Emrullah Toygun took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Buffon. Borys Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
