The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Каблешково's goalkeeper Horacio Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Metodi Gadzhanov came free, but 俞锋烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuncho Kachamakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but 俞锋烽 made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuncho Kachamakov got free with 俞锋烽 in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 俞锋烽 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kuncho Kachamakov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Vitan Nenchov threw the ball into play from the sideline. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Teofilo Mergildo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 33rd minute Jakub Moder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞锋烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hermengildo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Marekov who took care of the corner kick. Каблешково's Emil Marekov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 俞锋烽 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 俞锋烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Moder in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when Каблешково was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitan Nenchov didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuncho Kachamakov to make the kick off. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Moder in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Kuncho Kachamakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞锋烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 俞锋烽 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kuncho Kachamakov went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hermengildo Cordeara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Ponc having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kuncho Kachamakov in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 俞锋烽 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Marekov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. 俞锋烽 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 俞锋烽 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Moder, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 俞锋烽 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Moder's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Moder in the 73rd minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Cordeara in the 77th minute of play forced Каблешково's goalkeeper Horacio Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Moder came free, but 俞锋烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 俞锋烽 came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Каблешково's Jakub Moder. But to his dismay, Jakub Moder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 俞锋烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuncho Kachamakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Conrado Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's protests and gave Conrado Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Lluciano to maneuver through the defense. Moises Atarrabi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Каблешково's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
