Franco Prandini started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's Eduardo Domeka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimcho Bobchev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 9 played minutes FC Kickerz got a freekick which was hit by Ted Eriksson. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Prandini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes FC Kickerz got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Brandin. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kickerz's zone, Alberto-Federico Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimcho Bobchev came out of the goal and Alberto-Federico Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Kickerz's Dimcho Bobchev got control of the ball when Alberto-Federico Acosta tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alberto-Federico Acosta hit a great ball. Gu Bang Jun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Yanislav Vekovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimcho Bobchev was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Alberto-Federico Acosta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto-Federico Acosta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Kilström in the 44th minute of play. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Brandin in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Carabata Groove's Herbert Pilipiec was substituted for Alberto-Federico Acosta. Carabata Groove's Armin Atroce was substituted for Eduardo Domeka. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Hauk Hareide replaced Andreas Möller. The wind increased when Hauk Hareide made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Kickerz defense, Hauk Hareide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimcho Bobchev. The FC Kickerz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimcho Bobchev should have stopped the shot. Hauk Hareide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Herbert Pilipiec almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kickerz's Dimcho Bobchev did a great save. Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Carabata Groove from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Stenström got free with Cristobal Goito in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, FC Kickerz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Hedman to maneuver through the defense. Hauk Hareide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimcho Bobchev having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kickerz's zone, Hauk Hareide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimcho Bobchev came out of the goal and Hauk Hareide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Goito made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Franco Prandini sent off a good shot on target.
