François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez. But to his dismay, Basilio Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Betão Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Quebra Ossos FC defense, Remigio Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Fonseca. The Quebra Ossos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Basilio Fernandez got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Téo Fonseca handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's Silvano Bide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez got a free kick in the 34th minute. Silvano Bide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Téo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 38th minute of play. Téo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Fernandez went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Remigio Quirze sped through Quebra Ossos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Téo Fonseca. 57 minutes into the game, Basilio Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Téo Fonseca. Basilio Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Silvano Bide fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruquense FC's protests and gave Silvano Bide a yellow card for diving instead. Silvano Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The Ruquense FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvano Bide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Fonseca having to make a save.
