KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Tanio in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Tanio to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Weijnants, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stat Veritas FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after KFC Vliegplein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johan Gelin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Johan Gelin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo De Jonge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Roger Gili, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Teo De Jonge was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Stat Veritas FC's Fernando Dantae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo De Jonge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Dantae couldn't finish the play. Stat Veritas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KFC Vliegplein for a fine match.
