When Ivan Malmgren came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hallands Riviera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Malmgren couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Çetin Temizalp in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hallands Riviera's Valter Berglund. Alex Svanberg made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Felix Stana sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN were awarded a corner. The supporters of Hallands Riviera booed when PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Florescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Hallands Riviera's Ivan Malmgren made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Stana to make the kick off.
