Luca Saenger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Amadeu Lamego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Luca Saenger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arnaldo Walthert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Walthert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Dante went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Herz in the 20th minute of play forced SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Lamego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Amadeu Lamego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Scott Herz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hemmersbacher SV's Arnaldo Walthert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Meirelles in the 28th minute of play. Amadeu Lamego came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz. But to his dismay, Scott Herz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hemmersbacher SV's Arnaldo Walthert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Dante in the 35th minute of play. Arnaldo Walthert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Jairo Dante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arnaldo Walthert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeu Lamego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Netto during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes SAO JOANENSE FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Netto. In the 42ndth minute of the game Scott Herz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Amadeu Lamego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Scott Herz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 47th playminute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Scott Herz made a kick off. Hemmersbacher SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rory Restaino in the 54th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SAO JOANENSE FC's goalie and right to Luca Saenger. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SAO JOANENSE FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 57th minute Scott Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Lamego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Walthert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Meirelles in the 63rd minute of the match. When Scott Herz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Hemmersbacher SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scott Herz couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Lamego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Arnaldo Walthert was a little too slow when Luisinho Netto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Luisinho Netto could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Arnaldo Walthert however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Herz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lamego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, SAO JOANENSE FC's Jairo Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Walthert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeu Lamego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Brandenberger went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
