An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Alcântara in the 15th minute of play forced PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goalkeeper Leontin Voinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Lamego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Joks in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Edgar Florescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN and the SAO JOANENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Edgar Florescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Edgar Florescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Lamego was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Amadeu Lamego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstanty Joks's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Liviu Găvănescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstanty Joks in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lamego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Iordache Epure hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Florescu. After 48 minutes of play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Luisinho Netto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leontin Voinescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leontin Voinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Jairo Dante notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Leontin Voinescu. Leontin Voinescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Florescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Lamego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Leontin Voinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Meirelles in the 63rd minute of the match. SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Găvănescu in the 71st minute of play. Amadeu Lamego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Joks in the 73rd minute. With his leg Amadeu Lamego managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Konstanty Joks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amadeu Lamego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Florescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Amadeu Lamego was a little too slow when Bünyamin Toygar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. With a little luck, SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego got control of the ball when Konstanty Joks tried to sneak it across the goal line. SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save SAO JOANENSE FC from getting a goal against them. Leontin Voinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Dante in the 85th minute of the match. Konstanty Joks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Máximo Cardoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Máximo Cardoso off the ground. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SAO JOANENSE FC had played much better football throughout.
