The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wágner Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Rijmenans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes United 206 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paraibano. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Wágner Vergílio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wágner Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Rijmenans, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Wágner Vergílio was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Barry Van Bever capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barry Van Bever really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Barry Van Bever took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Wágner Vergílio to make any attempt to save it. Wágner Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Rijmenans in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Barry Van Bever dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wágner Vergílio, 3-0. Wágner Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Wágner Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Van Bever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoph Gebuers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wágner Vergílio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wágner Vergílio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Thanks to some nice moves Claus Rijmenans could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Wágner Vergílio however easily saved by the left post. United 206 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claus Rijmenans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 38th minute, Claus Rijmenans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wágner Vergílio. The goal made the score 6-0. Barry Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barry Van Bever received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wágner Vergílio came out and tried to block the shot, but Barry Van Bever slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. João Carlos Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Rijmenans in the 47th minute of play forced United 206 F.C.'s goalkeeper Wágner Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claus Rijmenans was the one to do the kick off. Barry Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 54 played minutes United 206 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Esteves. When Christoph Gebuers came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the De Beverpatrouille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoph Gebuers couldn't finish the play. Wágner Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Gebuers in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Stephen Everts notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of United 206 F.C.'s Wágner Vergílio. Wágner Vergílio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the United 206 F.C. defense, Christoph Gebuers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Vergílio. The United 206 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Vergílio should have stopped the shot. Barry Van Bever might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Van Bever ran back to his position shaking his head. Claus Rijmenans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Vergílio having to make a save. United 206 F.C.'s Wágner Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Van Bever in the 74th minute of play. Wágner Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Barry Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. United 206 F.C.'s Wágner Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Van Bever in the 84th minute of play. Wiliam Brasil thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Wágner Vergílio, a very annoying self made goal in the 86th minute which led to 12-0. After 89 minutes, Claus Rijmenans made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. United 206 F.C.'s Wágner Vergílio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
